At the heart of the Gospel is “Good News to the Poor”.

God’s heart is pleased and revealed when His people take action that brings the Good News to the poor.  New Hope is an opportunity for God’s people to display His heart to the underserved through medical care.

Who is my neighbor?’ is the question which introduces the parable of the Good Samaritan.  Our neighbors are those living in poverty, and people who cannot afford health insurance.  South King County has the highest percentage of people without medical insurance in the state, and the communities of Tukwila and SeaTac contain the highest percentage of medically uninsured of all – nearly 30%.  This figure not only includes the unemployed, but individuals and families who are working one, two, or even more jobs - simply trying to make ends meet.

New Hope has been established to demonstrate the compassion and mercy of Jesus Christ to people who rarely experience it.  We exist to authentically express the love of Christ to those who live at the margins of society.

In John 5:36 we read; “For the works that the Father has given Me to accomplish, the very works that I am doing, bear witness about Me that the Father has sent Me.”  The works of Jesus bear witness about Him.  They bear witness of His person, His message, and His sacrifice.

The Church is called to continue those works as we go out and proclaim the ‘Good News’ to all people.

We believe that the Lord has called His people to come together as One and go out and minister to the community with the love, compassion and power that only He can supply.  New Hope will minister to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of its clients.

Heal the sick ... and say to them; ‘The Kingdom of God has come near to you’

Our Mission

NHHC is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, incorporated with the state of Washington in December of 2007. New Hope is an expression of the Christian community providing primary health care to the medically uninsured in south King County in a manner that proclaims the love of Christ.

Our Vision

We desire to proclaim Jesus Christ, through word and deed, to the cities of Tukwila and SeaTac, Washington through a faith-based health center for the medically uninsured.

We will Proclaim Jesus Christ to...

  • To proclaim Jesus Christ to: The medically uninsured by giving them quality, compassionate health care and asking the Holy Spirit for opportunities to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with them.
  • The Christian community by providing God’s people opportunities to proclaim Jesus Christ through word and deed, and by training God’s people to sacrificially serve the underserved in the humility of Jesus, showing Christ to them through their words and deeds.
  • The people of Tukwila/SeaTac through the unity of the Body of Christ coming together to sacrificially serve the medically uninsured.

Our Faith

We believe...

  • The Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is inspired by God. It is the only infallible authoritative Word of God. There is only one God. He is infinitely perfect and exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • Man was originally created in the image of God, and that he fell through sin, and, as a consequence of his sin, lost his spiritual life, becoming dead in trespasses and sins, and that he became subject to the power of the devil.
  • Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, death upon the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His imminent return to earth to establish His kingdom.
  • The Holy Spirit is a divine person, sent to indwell and empower believers to live holy lives.
  • Salvation is provided solely through Jesus Christ. We are saved by grace through faith, apart from works. Anyone who repents and believes in Him is born again of the Holy Spirit, becomes a child of God and receives the gift of eternal life.
  • The Church consists of all those who believe in Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, and are born again of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Church, which has been commanded by Him to go into all the world as a witness, preaching the Good News of Christ to all nations.
  • There is a bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to eternal life, and the lost to eternal judgment and condemnation.
  • We are called with a holy calling to walk, not after the flesh, but after the Spirit, and so to live and grow in the power of the indwelling Spirit that we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh, and so dishonor our Lord.
